Method

Classic Chocolate Cake

1

Prepare the Batter

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.

2

Add Wet Ingredients

Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in the boiling water until well combined.

3

Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into two greased 9-inch round cake pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

4

Cool the Cake

Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Vanilla Pudding

5

Combine Ingredients

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt until well blended.

6

Cook the Mixture

Over medium heat, cook the mixture while stirring constantly until it thickens and starts to boil (about 5-7 minutes).

7

Add Flavorings

Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract until smooth.

8

Chill the Pudding

Pour the pudding into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Fruit Salad

9

Prepare the Fruits

Wash and slice the strawberries, blueberries, green apples, and banana into bite-sized pieces.

10

Mix the Salad

In a large bowl, combine all the prepared fruits.

11

Add Dressing

Drizzle honey and lemon juice over the fruit salad and toss gently to combine.

12

Serve

Serve immediately for the best flavor or refrigerate for up to 30 minutes before serving.
