Gather Ingredients
Collect all ingredients: Catoctin Creek rye, Four Roses bourbon, Cardamaro, Palo Santo syrup, and bitters.

Chill Glass
Place a cocktail glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the drink.
Mixing

Combine Spirits
In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour 1.5 oz of Catoctin Creek rye and 1 oz of Four Roses bourbon.

Add Modifiers
Add 0.5 oz of Cardamaro, 0.25 oz of Palo Santo syrup, and 2 dashes of bitters to the mixing glass.

Stir
Stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled and properly diluted.
Serving

Strain and Serve
Remove the ice from the chilled cocktail glass. Strain the mixture from the mixing glass into the prepared cocktail glass.

If desired, garnish with a twist of orange peel or a cherry for added flavor and presentation.
