Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash all the fruits thoroughly. Slice the oranges, lemons, and limes into thin rounds. Core and chop the apple into bite-sized pieces. If using strawberries, slice them in half.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the sliced oranges, lemons, limes, chopped apple, and berries. Add the sugar and orange juice, stirring gently to combine.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Add Liquor

Pour the entire bottle of red wine and the cup of brandy into the pitcher with the fruit mixture. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

  2. 4

    Chill

Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve with Soda

Just before serving, add the club soda to the pitcher and stir gently. Pour the sangria into glasses filled with ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
