Ingredients for Henry McKenna Bourbon

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Chill the Glass

Begin by chilling your favorite whiskey glass by filling it with ice water. Let it sit while you prepare the bourbon.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sugar

In a separate glass, place the sugar cube. Add two dashes of bitters onto the sugar cube and muddle them together until the sugar is dissolved.

  3. 3

    Add Water

Pour 100 ml of water into the glass with the muddled sugar and bitters. Stir until well combined.

  4. 4

    Add Bourbon

Pour 750 ml of Henry McKenna bourbon whiskey into the glass. Stir gently to mix the ingredients.

  5. 5

    Serve Over Ice

Remove the ice water from the chilled glass and add 5 ice cubes. Pour the bourbon mixture over the ice.

  6. 6

    Garnish

Take a piece of orange peel and twist it over the drink to release its oils. Rim the glass with the peel and then drop it in as a garnish.
