Dough Preparation

Make the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, softened butter, eggs, granulated sugar, and salt. Mix until a crumbly texture forms.

Add Water
Gradually add cold water, mixing until the dough comes together. It should be smooth and slightly sticky. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Add Fresh Herbs
Stir in the chopped fresh dill and mix well. Remove from heat and let cool.
Assembly and Cooking

Roll Out the Dough
On a floured surface, roll out the chilled dough to about 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into circles, approximately 4 inches in diameter.

Fill the Dough
Place a spoonful of the meat filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over to form a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal tightly.

Cook the Chopin
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Gently add the filled dumplings and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the top. Remove with a slotted spoon.
