Method

Prepare Tater Tots

  1. 1

    Bake the Tater Tots

Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Spread the frozen tater tots evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with vegetable oil and toss to coat. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Prepare Caviar and Toppings

  1. 2

    Mix Crème Fraîche Topping

In a small bowl, mix the crème fraîche with lemon zest, sea salt, and black pepper to taste. Set aside.

  2. 3

    Chop Chives

Finely chop the fresh chives and set aside for garnish.

Assemble the Dish

  1. 4

    Plate the Tots

Once the tater tots are baked and crispy, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Arrange them on a serving platter.

  2. 5

    Add Caviar and Crème Fraîche

Top each tater tot with a dollop of the crème fraîche mixture and a small spoonful of caviar. Sprinkle the chopped chives over the top for garnish.

  3. 6

    Serve Immediately

Serve the dish warm as an amuse-bouche, allowing your guests to enjoy a delightful bite of flavors.
