Prepare the Spiced Tomato Sauce
In a small saucepan, combine tomato sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until warmed through. Set aside.

Make the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Gradually add the beer, whisking until smooth and fully combined.

Heat the Oil
In a deep pot or fryer, heat the oil to 375°F (190°C).

Batter the Cheese Curds
Dip the cheddar cheese curds into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.

Carefully place the battered cheese curds into the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown, approximately 2-3 minutes per batch. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
