Wild Berry Sorbet Ingredients

Method

Wild Berry Sorbet Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Berries

Rinse the mixed berries under cold water and remove any stems or leaves. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Make the Sugar Syrup

In a medium saucepan, combine the water and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.

  3. 3

    Blend the Mixture

In a blender or food processor, add the prepared berries, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Pour in the cooled sugar syrup. Blend until smooth and well combined.

  4. 4

    Strain the Mixture (Optional)

If you prefer a smoother sorbet, strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds. Use a spatula to press the mixture through.

  5. 5

    Freeze the Sorbet

Pour the berry mixture into a shallow container. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the sorbet is frozen, scoop it into bowls or cones. Enjoy immediately or store in the freezer for later.
