Method

Fries

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into thick strips to form fries.

  2. 2

    Soak the Fries

Place the cut fries in a large bowl filled with cold water. Soak for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 3

    Dry the Fries

After soaking, drain the fries and pat them dry using paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the fries to the hot oil in batches. Fry for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. 6

    Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. While still hot, sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

House Made Ranch

  1. 7

    Mix Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk. Whisk until smooth.

  2. 8

    Add Seasonings

Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated.

  3. 9

    Chill

Cover the ranch dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Spicy Ketchup

  1. 10

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, hot sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and honey.

  2. 11

    Stir Until Smooth

Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.

  3. 12

    Serve

Serve the spicy ketchup alongside the hot fries.
