Baked Brie Ingredients

Method

Baked Brie Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pecans

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the pecans on a baking sheet in a single layer. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until fragrant and lightly browned, stirring halfway through.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Baguette

While the pecans are toasting, slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on another baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Bake for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Brie

Take the Brie cheese and place it on a baking dish. Make small slits on the top of the cheese with a knife to allow the toppings to seep in. Drizzle the honey over the top and sprinkle the toasted pecans evenly on top.

  4. 4

    Add Pear and Thyme

Slice the pear into thin wedges and arrange them around the Brie on the baking dish. Sprinkle fresh thyme over the entire dish.

  5. 5

    Bake the Brie

Place the dish with Brie, pecans, and pears in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and gooey.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the Brie is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with the crispy crostini on the side for dipping.
