Miniature Desserts

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Batter

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until evenly mixed.

  2. 2

    Cream Butter and Sugar

In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter with the sugar mixture until light and fluffy.

  3. 3

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.

  4. 4

    Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir until just combined to avoid overmixing.

  5. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a mini cupcake or muffin tray by greasing it or lining with mini cupcake liners.

  6. 6

    Fill the Cups

Spoon the batter into the mini cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. 7

    Cool and Fill

Once baked, allow the mini cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, use a small knife to cut a small hole in the top of each cupcake and fill with chocolate ganache.

  8. 8

    Dust and Garnish

Dust the cooled mini desserts with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh berries before serving.
