Prepare the Steaks
Remove the filet mignon steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before grilling.

Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450-500°F or 230-260°C).

Grill the Steaks
Place the seasoned steaks on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for your desired doneness.

Rest the Steaks
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Prepare the Garlic
While the potatoes are boiling, peel the garlic cloves and place them in a small saucepan with a little water. Simmer for about 10 minutes until softened.

Mash the Potatoes
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the softened garlic, butter, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper.

Combine and Serve
Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste. Serve hot with the grilled filet mignon.
