Prepare the Glass
Take a lime wedge and rub it around the rim of the glass to moisten it. Then, dip the rim into a plate of salt to coat it evenly. Set the glass aside.

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of lime juice, and 1 oz of triple sec.

Shake
Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds until the mixture is chilled.

Pour and Garnish
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
