Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Juicing the Fruit

If using fresh oranges and grapefruits, start by juicing them. Use a citrus juicer or reamer to extract the juice from the fruits until you have at least 1 cup of each juice.

  2. 2

    Chilling the Glasses

For a refreshing experience, chill your glasses in the refrigerator or fill them with ice water for a few minutes before serving.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine the Juices

In a mixing jug, combine 1 cup of fresh orange juice and 1 cup of fresh grapefruit juice. Stir gently to mix.

  2. 4

    Pouring the Sparkling Wine

Fill each chilled glass halfway with the juice mixture. Slowly pour in 1 cup of sparkling wine to fill the glass, allowing it to mix gently with the juice.

Serving

  1. 5

    Garnish (Optional)

For an extra touch, you can garnish with an orange slice or a sprig of mint on each glass.

  2. 6

    Serve Immediately

Serve the mimosa immediately to enjoy the refreshing bubbles and vibrant flavors.
