Method
Eggs
- 1
Prepare the Eggs
In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook to your desired doneness (sunny side up, over easy, or scrambled). Remove from heat and set aside.
Homestyle Breakfast Potatoes
- 2
Cook the Potatoes
Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes and chopped onion, and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the potatoes are golden brown and tender, about 15-20 minutes. Stir in fresh parsley before serving.
House Baked Focaccia
- 3
Make the Focaccia
In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add flour, olive oil, and salt, and mix until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour. Once risen, shape into a rectangle on a baking sheet and sprinkle with rosemary. Let rise for another 30 minutes before baking at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Choice of Bacon or Sausage
- 4
Cook the Meat
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Alternatively, cook sausage links according to package instructions until browned and cooked through.
