Shrub Base Preparation

    Prepare the Fruit

    Wash and chop the fresh seasonal fruit into small pieces. Measure out 1 cup of the chopped fruit and place it into a clean glass jar.

    Make the Shrub Mixture

    Add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and 1 cup of granulated sugar to the jar with the fruit. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

    Add Water

    Pour in 1 cup of water to the mixture and stir until the sugar has fully dissolved.

    Infuse the Shrub

    Seal the jar and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.

Mocktail Assembly

    Prepare Glasses

    Fill two glasses with ice cubes to keep the drink cool.

    Mix the Mocktail

    In each glass, pour 1/4 cup of the prepared shrub base and top with 1 cup of sparkling water. Stir gently to combine.

    Add a few fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon to each glass for garnish.
