Gather and Measure Ingredients
Collect all ingredients: Jovan Mezcal, Caraway Infused Sweet Vermouth, Velvet Falernum, and Orange Bitters. Measure out the amounts specified in the ingredients list.

Chill the Glass
Prepare a chilled coupe or cocktail glass by filling it with ice water. Let it sit while you prepare the cocktail.
Mixing

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in 2 oz of Jovan Mezcal, 1 oz of Caraway Infused Sweet Vermouth, and 0.5 oz of Velvet Falernum.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of Orange Bitters to the mixing glass.

Stir the Mixture
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and properly diluted.

Strain and Serve
Empty the ice water from the chilled glass. Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the mixed cocktail into the glass.

If desired, use a smoking gun or a piece of smoldering wood to infuse the cocktail with smoke. Cover the glass briefly to capture the smoke, then remove the cover.
