Method
Meatball Preparation

Mix Meatball Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground pork, chopped red bell pepper, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, salt, black pepper, egg, and chopped parsley.

Form Meatballs
Using your hands, mix the ingredients until well combined. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a tray.
Cooking Meatballs

Brown the Meatballs
In a large skillet over medium heat, add a bit of olive oil and brown the meatballs on all sides. This should take about 8-10 minutes. Once browned, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
Tomato Sauce Preparation

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring the sauce to a simmer.

Combine Meatballs with Sauce
Add the browned meatballs back into the skillet with the tomato sauce. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.

Add Red Wine Vinegar
Stir in the red wine vinegar just before serving.
Tahini Yogurt Preparation

Mix Yogurt Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine the plain yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt. Stir until smooth and well blended.
Serving

Serve
To serve, place meatballs on a plate, generously spoon the tomato sauce over them, and drizzle with tahini yogurt.
