Pork Chop

Cheesy Poblano Grits

Seasonal Fruit Topping

Pickled Jalapeño

Method

Pork Chop

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Rub the olive oil on both sides of the chops.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork Chops

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the pork chops for 6-8 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Cheesy Poblano Grits

  1. 3

    Cook the Grits

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Slowly whisk in the grits and reduce the heat to low. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. 4

    Add Poblano and Cheese

In the last 5 minutes of cooking, stir in the diced poblano pepper, butter, cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy.

Seasonal Fruit Topping

  1. 5

    Prepare the Fruit

In a bowl, combine the seasonal fruit, honey, and lime juice. Toss gently to coat and set aside to let the flavors meld.

Pickled Jalapeño

  1. 6

    Pickle the Jalapeños

In a saucepan, combine white vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a simmer. Add sliced jalapeños and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
