1. Prepare the Kale
Wash the kale thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or grit. Remove the thick stems from the leaves and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
2. Set Up Steamer
Fill a pot with 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil. Place a steamer basket over the pot, ensuring it does not touch the water.
3. Steam the Kale
Add the prepared kale to the steamer basket. Cover the pot and steam the kale for about 5-7 minutes, or until the leaves are tender but still vibrant green.
4. Season and Serve
Once steamed, transfer the kale to a serving bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt to taste. Toss gently to combine and serve warm.
