1. Cook the Bacon

Season the ribeye steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. In the skillet, cook the steak to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare.

4. Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking the steak, place the cheddar cheese slices on top and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

5. Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the baguette or rolls in half. Layer the cooked steak with melted cheese, crispy bacon, and sautéed onions. Close the sandwich and serve.
