Chill and prepare glass
If possible, chill your glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes. Meanwhile, ensure the can of Coca-Cola is cold (ideally around 3–5°C / 37–41°F).

Add ice
Remove the glass from the freezer. Add 6 ice cubes to the glass to keep the drink cold and fizzy longer.

Open and pour Coke
Carefully open the can of Coca-Cola. To minimize foam, tilt the glass at about a 45° angle and slowly pour the Coke down the side of the glass until the can is empty.

Add lime
Squeeze the lime wedge lightly over the drink to add a bright citrus note, then drop the wedge into the glass if desired.

Serve
Give the drink a gentle stir (one or two turns) to incorporate the lime. Serve immediately while fizzy.

For a minty aroma, slap the mint sprig between your palms to release oils and place it on top of the drink.

Add a maraschino cherry on a toothpick or drop it in for a sweeter, visual touch.
