Method
Single bottle serving
- 1
Chill or prepare bottle
If the bottled water is not already chilled and you prefer cold water, place the sealed bottle in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours or put it in an ice bucket for 10–20 minutes.
- 2
Open the bottle cap. If desired, pour the water into a clean glass.
- 3
If using ice, add 3–4 ice cubes to the glass before pouring. If you prefer no ice, skip this step.
- 4
- 5
Serve immediately. Recap any remaining water and refrigerate if you plan to keep it cold.
Multiple servings (for events)
- 6
Prepare cooler or dispenser
Fill a cooler or beverage dispenser with ice (about 500 g or enough to surround bottles) if serving many people and you want to keep bottles cold. Alternatively, chill bottles in the refrigerator in advance.
- 7
Arrange bottles upright in the cooler or dispenser among the ice so they are evenly chilled.
- 8
If offering poured water, fill a large pitcher with chilled bottled water, add ice if desired, and optionally add several citrus slices and mint sprigs for a subtle flavor.
- 9
- 10
Keep any opened bottles capped and refrigerated when not in use. Discard any opened bottled water left at room temperature for more than 24 hours according to preference and local guidelines.
