Prepare the Pulled Pork
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the pork shoulder with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place the pork in a roasting pan and cover it with foil. Roast in the oven for about 4 hours or until tender and easily shredded.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes. Use two forks to shred the pork into bite-sized pieces.

Assemble the Smokey Apple
In a serving dish, layer the BBQ pulled pork, sprinkle hickory smoked cheddar cheese on top, and add crispy apple chips for crunch. Drizzle additional BBQ sauce on top if desired.
