Prepare the Chiles
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Carefully slice the green chiles open lengthwise and remove the seeds. Set aside.

Make the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Stuff the Chiles
Spoon the cheese mixture into each green chile, filling them generously.

Coat the Chiles
Place the stuffed chiles on a baking sheet. Top each chile with the pecan mixture, pressing down lightly to adhere.
