Cocktail Preparation
Brew Thai Tea
In a small pot, bring 4 oz of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons of loose Thai tea leaves or 2 tea bags. Steep for 5-7 minutes, then strain and let cool.
Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Hamilton Pot Still Black Rum, 0.5 oz of Luau Lads Falernum, 0.5 oz of Montenegro Amaro, 4 oz of brewed Thai tea (cooled), and 2 oz of coconut milk.
Shake Well
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
Garnishing
Garnish the Cocktail
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of coconut flakes on top of the drink and add 2 pieces of Thai basil leaves for aroma and presentation.
