Method
Chicken Tenders
- 1
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- 2
In a shallow dish, whisk together the flour with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- 3
- 4
In a third shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs with paprika, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan (if using).
- 5
Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
- 6
Dredge each tender in the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess.
- 7
Dip the floured tenders into the beaten egg, letting the excess drip off.
- 8
Coat the tenders in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- 9
Place coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray with olive oil.
- 10
Bake for 12–15 minutes, flip, then bake an additional 6–8 minutes until golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
French Fries
- 11
Cut potatoes into evenly sized sticks about 1/4 inch thick. Optional: soak in cold water 10–15 minutes to remove surface starch, then pat dry.
- 12
Toss fries with olive oil, salt, and optional paprika.
- 13
Spread fries in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet, avoiding crowding.
- 14
Bake in the 425°F (220°C) oven for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway, until crispy and golden.
Drink
- 15
Chill the 12 oz drink and pour into a kid-friendly cup for serving.
