Method

Cheese Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cheese

Take the Mad River Blue Cheese out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving. This will enhance the flavor and make it easier to spread.

Bread Preparation

  1. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 3

    Prepare the Baguette

Slice the baguette into 1-inch thick pieces. Arrange them on a baking sheet.

  3. 4

    Season the Bread

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic (you can mince it using a garlic press), chopped fresh rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture generously over both sides of the baguette slices.

  4. 5

    Toast the Bread

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast the bread for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven, and allow it to cool for a minute. Serve warm with the prepared Mad River Blue Cheese on a platter.
