Muddle the Mint
In a Julep cup or a glass, add the fresh mint leaves and simple syrup. Gently muddle the mint leaves with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release their oils, being careful not to tear them too much.

Add the Whiskey
Pour in the Pendelton whiskey over the muddled mint and syrup.

Add Ice
Fill the cup with crushed ice, packing it tightly to create a frosty exterior.

Stir
Stir gently to combine the ingredients and chill the drink.

Garnish and Serve
Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint. Enjoy your Pendelton Julep!
