Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice to chill while you assemble the cocktail.

2

Add spirits and citrus

Discard any excess melt from the ice and add 1.5 fl oz cherry vodka, 0.5 fl oz freshly squeezed lime juice, and 0.25 fl oz simple syrup to the glass.

3

Stir

Gently stir the vodka, lime juice, and simple syrup with a bar spoon for 8–10 seconds to combine and slightly chill.

4

Top with White Claw

Slowly pour 12 fl oz (one can) of White Claw Black Cherry over the back of the spoon or directly into the glass to retain carbonation. Stir very gently once or twice to integrate — do not over-stir, or you'll flatten the seltzer.

5

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a fresh black cherry or maraschino cherry and a lime wheel on the rim. Serve immediately with a straw or sipping directly from the glass.

Optional

6

If you prefer a lighter drink, use half a can (6 fl oz) of White Claw and increase ice to 1.5 cups; adjust proportions of vodka to 1 fl oz accordingly.

7

To make a batch for 4 servings, multiply ingredients by 4, combine vodka, lime juice, and simple syrup in a pitcher, then top each serving with a can of White Claw when pouring to preserve fizz.
