1

Prepare glass

Select a large wine glass (or rocks glass). Fill the glass about three-quarters full with ice cubes so the drink stays cold and the Prosecco keeps its bubbles.

2

Add Aperol

Pour 2 oz Aperol over the ice. Pouring Aperol first helps it integrate more evenly when you add the sparkling wine.

3

Add Prosecco

Slowly pour 3 oz chilled Prosecco into the glass. Pour gently down the side of the glass or over the back of a spoon to preserve carbonation and avoid excessive foaming.

4

Top with soda

Add 1 oz chilled soda water to brighten the drink. If you prefer a slightly drier spritz, reduce the soda to 0.5 oz; for a lighter drink, increase to 1.5 oz.

5

Stir gently

Using a bar spoon, stir once or twice gently to combine the Aperol, Prosecco, and soda without knocking out too many bubbles.

6

Garnish and serve

Garnish with one fresh orange slice placed on the rim or floated in the drink. Serve immediately while cold and effervescent.
