Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Skillet
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cast-iron skillet or an oven-safe skillet with butter or non-stick spray.
- 2
Mix the Wet Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- 3
Combine the Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- 4
Combine and Fold
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- 5
Bake
Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared skillet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- 6
Serve
Remove the skillet from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve warm with a scoop of cookie dough ice cream on top and drizzle with salted caramel.
