Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the ciabatta loaf in half lengthwise. Brush the cut sides with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.

  2. 2

    Toast the Bread

Toast the ciabatta in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Topping

While the bread is toasting, slice the farmstead tomatoes into wedges and thinly slice the fennel bulb. In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, arugula, and sliced fennel. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss gently to combine.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Toast

Once the ciabatta is toasted, remove it from the oven. Place the burrata cheese on each half, then top with the tomato, arugula, and fennel mixture.

  5. 5

    Serve

Drizzle with additional balsamic vinegar if desired and serve immediately.
