Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop all the vegetables: broccoli, bell pepper, carrot, snap peas, zucchini, and onion into desired sizes.

  2. 2

    Cook Rice

If not using pre-cooked rice, cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, and water. Stir until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil if desired. Once hot, add the prepared vegetables. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes or until they are tender-crisp.

  2. 5

    Add the Sauce

Pour the sauce over the stir-fried vegetables. Stir well to coat the vegetables evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  3. 6

    Serve

Serve the stir-fried vegetables over a bed of cooked rice. Enjoy your Vegetable Stir Fry!
