Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

  2. 2

    Steep Green Tea

Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of green tea leaves to the kettle and remove from heat. Let it steep for about 3-5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Sugar

After steeping, strain the tea into a teapot and add 4 tablespoons of sugar. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  4. 4

    Add Mint

Add a bunch of fresh mint leaves to the teapot. Allow the tea to steep with the mint for an additional 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serve

Pour the tea into small glasses, holding the teapot high to create a frothy top. Optionally, garnish with additional mint leaves.
