Method

Prepare the Passion Fruit Base

  1. 1

    Extract Passion Fruit Juice

Cut the passion fruits in half and scoop out the pulp and seeds into a blender.

  2. 2

    Blend and Strain

Add 2 cups of water to the blender with the passion fruit pulp. Blend on high for about 30 seconds. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to separate the juice from the seeds and pulp.

  3. 3

    Sweeten the Juice

Add 1 cup of sugar to the strained passion fruit juice and stir until dissolved. Set aside.

Prepare the Hops Infusion

  1. 4

    Boil Water

In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.

  2. 5

    Add Hops

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 1 oz of hops. Let it steep for 15-20 minutes.

  3. 6

    Strain Hops

After steeping, strain the hops using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a separate bowl.

Combine and Serve

  1. 7

Mix Passion Fruit Juice and Hops

Combine the sweetened passion fruit juice with the strained hops infusion in a large pitcher. Stir well to incorporate.

  2. 8

    Serve with Garnishes

Pour the mixture into glasses filled with ice. Garnish each glass with mint leaves and a lime wedge.
