Method

Fried Brussels Sprouts

1

Prepare Brussels Sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.

2

Heat Oil

In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

3

Fry Brussels Sprouts

Add the Brussels sprouts to the hot oil, cut-side down. Fry for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and crisp. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

4

Add Cheese

Once the Brussels sprouts are cooked, remove them from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Immediately sprinkle Grana Padano cheese over the hot sprouts.
