Method
Burger Directions
- 1
Prepare the Beef Patty
In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- 2
Form the Patty
Shape the seasoned ground beef into a round patty, about ¾ inch thick.
- 3
Cook the Patty
Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patty and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.
- 4
Add Cheese
Flip the patty and place the slice of white American cheese on top. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patty is cooked to your desired doneness.
- 5
Toast the Bun
While the patty is cooking, toast the burger bun in the skillet until golden brown.
- 6
Assemble the Burger
Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of the toasted bun, then add the top half to complete the burger.
Fries Directions
- 7
Prepare the Fries
In a deep frying pan, heat cooking oil over medium heat.
- 8
Fry the Fries
Add the frozen French fries to the hot oil and fry them according to package instructions, usually around 5-7 minutes, until they are golden and crispy.
- 9
Season the Fries
Once cooked, remove the fries from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Immediately sprinkle with salt to taste.
