Financier Batter

Method

Baking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Batter

In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt. Whisk together until well blended.

  2. 2

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat until it turns a light golden brown. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Add the egg whites and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Slowly pour in the melted butter while stirring until the batter is smooth.

  4. 4

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease financier molds or mini muffin tins.

  5. 5

    Fill the Molds

Pour the batter into the prepared molds, filling each about 2/3 full.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. 7

    Cool and Serve

Allow the financiers to cool in the molds for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve and enjoy!
