Marinated Crab Claws
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Crab Claws
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the crab claws and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they turn bright red. Remove from heat and drain the claws. Allow them to cool.
- 2
Make the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped chili, chopped mint leaves, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
- 3
Marinate the Crab Claws
Once the crab claws are cooled, add them to the mixing bowl with the marinade. Toss gently to ensure all the claws are well coated with the marinade.
- 4
Refrigerate
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 5
Serve
Once marinated, serve the crab claws chilled on a platter, garnished with additional mint leaves if desired.
