Method

Pancake Batter

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter should be slightly lumpy; do not over-mix.

  4. 4

    Preheat Grill

Preheat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.

  5. 5

    Cook the Pancakes

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.

Blueberry Preserves

  1. 6

    Cook Blueberries

In a medium saucepan, combine the blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice over medium heat. Stir until the mixture comes to a simmer.

  2. 7

    Simmer

Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.

  3. 8

    Cool

Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.

Creme Fraiche

  1. 9

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and buttermilk until well combined.

  2. 10

    Let Sit

Cover and let the mixture sit at room temperature for 12-24 hours until thickened.

Spiced Granola

  1. 11

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 12

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the oats, honey, cinnamon, salt, and chopped almonds.

  3. 13

    Add Oil

Drizzle the melted coconut oil over the mixture and stir until evenly coated.

  4. 14

    Bake

Spread the granola mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.

  5. 15

    Cool and Store

Let the granola cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

House Syrup

  1. 16

    Serve

Pour the maple syrup into a serving pitcher for drizzling over pancakes.
