Finish the Grits
Once cooked, stir in 2 tbsp of butter and 1 cup of cheddar cheese until melted and combined. Keep warm.

Prepare the Eggs
In a non-stick skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Crack 4 large eggs into the skillet.

Season and Cook
Sprinkle with 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper. Cook until the whites are set and the yolks are your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes for sunny side up.

Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet, cook 8 strips of bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Flip halfway through for even cooking. Drain on paper towels.
Biscuit

Prepare the Biscuit Dough
Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). In a large bowl, mix together 2.5 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp of baking powder, and 1 tsp of salt. Cut in 0.5 cups of butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add Liquids and Bake
Stir in 1 cup of milk until just combined. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, and roll to 1-inch thickness. Cut into circles and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
