Preparing the Pasta

Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
Making the Sauce

Cook the Pancetta
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the pancetta. Cook until it is crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, grated Parmesan cheese, and black pepper until well combined.

Add the Egg Mixture
Quickly pour the egg and cheese mixture over the pasta, stirring vigorously to create a creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to loosen it. Season with salt to taste.

Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
