Prepare the ribeye
Thinly slice the ribeye steak against the grain and season with salt and black pepper.

Cook the beef
In the same skillet, increase the heat to high and add the sliced ribeye. Cook for 2-3 minutes until just browned. Remove from heat.

Prepare the au jus
In a saucepan, heat the beef broth over medium heat. Once warmed, set aside for dipping.

Melt the cheese
Place the assembled sandwich under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving

Serve the French dip
Cut the sandwich into portions and serve with warm au jus on the side for dipping. Accompany with fries or greens.
