Cocktail

  1. 1

    Prepare glass and ingredients

Chill a highball or Collins glass by filling it with ice and setting it aside while you gather ingredients. Measure out Tito's vodka, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup. Have club soda chilled and bitters at hand.

  2. 2

    Build the drink

Discard the ice used to chill the glass. Fill the chilled glass about three-quarters full with fresh cubed ice (approximately 1 cup). Pour in 2 oz Tito's Handmade Vodka, 0.75 oz freshly squeezed lime juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup directly over the ice.

  3. 3

    Top and finish

Gently stir the mixture once or twice with a bar spoon to combine the vodka, lime and syrup without over-diluting. Top with 2 oz cold club soda. Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters on top of the drink — the bitters will float and aroma will lift the cocktail.

  4. 4

    Garnish and serve

Garnish with a fresh lime wheel or wedge on the rim and, if using, a mint sprig slapped between your palms to release aroma and tucked into the top. Serve immediately with a straw or long spoon.
