Method
Prepare the Basil Mayo
- 1
Make the Basil Mayo
In a blender or food processor, combine the mayonnaise, fresh basil, lemon juice, and garlic. Blend until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
Cook the Eggs
- 2
Fry the Eggs
In a non-stick skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Crack the organic eggs into the skillet. Cook until the whites are set and the yolks are cooked to your desired doneness (sunny side up or over easy). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Prepare the Bacon
- 3
Cook the Bacon
In the same skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
Assemble the Sliders
- 4
Build the Sliders
Slice the organic slider buns in half. Spread a generous amount of basil mayo on the bottom half of each bun. Add a lettuce leaf, followed by a slice of tomato, a slice of Monterey Jack cheese, and the fried egg. Top with bacon or sliced avocado, then place the top half of the bun on.
