Brunch

  1. 1

    Prepare the hot dogs

In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Carefully add the Vienna beef hot dogs to the boiling water and cook for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.

  2. 2

    Toast the buns

While the hot dogs are cooking, slice the hot dog buns open without cutting all the way through. Toast them on a grill or in a toaster oven until lightly golden.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Chicago Vienna Dogs

Once the hot dogs are cooked, place one hot dog inside each toasted bun. Top the hot dogs with yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, and a generous amount of chopped onions.

  4. 4

    Add toppings

Garnish each hot dog with slices of tomato, a dill pickle spear, and one or two sport peppers. Sprinkle a pinch of celery salt on top for added flavor.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the Chicago Vienna Dogs immediately while hot, alongside additional mustard and relish if desired.
