Deviled Eggs

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pot, remove from heat and let sit for 12-15 minutes. Afterward, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool. Once cooled, peel the eggs.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

Cut the peeled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks. In a mixing bowl, combine the yolks, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth.

  3. 3

    Add Bacon

Fold in the crumbled bacon, reserving a small amount for garnish.

  4. 4

    Fill the Egg Whites

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

  5. 5

    Garnish

Sprinkle the reserved bacon and chopped chives over the filled eggs.

  6. 6

    Serve

Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Enjoy your Maple Bacon Deviled Eggs!
