Baked Crab Cake Ingredients

Method

Baked Crab Cake Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, chopped green onions, beaten egg, bread crumbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Cakes

Using your hands, form the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter. Place the formed crab cakes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  3. 3

    Bake the Crab Cakes

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the crab cakes for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown on the outside.

  4. 4

    Prepare Cajun Remoulade

While the crab cakes are baking, prepare the Cajun remoulade by mixing 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of hot sauce in a small bowl. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once the crab cakes are done, serve them hot with the Cajun remoulade on the side.
