Lobster Fra Diavolo Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add lobster tails and cook for 5 minutes. Remove and let cool. Once cool, remove meat from shells and cut into chunks. Reserve shells.

  2. 2

    Cook the Shrimp and Clams

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute. Then, add Gulf shrimp and littleneck clams. Sauté until shrimp are pink and clams are opened, about 5-7 minutes. Remove shrimp and clams from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add unsalted butter and allow it to brown slightly. Add canned crushed tomatoes and white wine. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 10 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Cook the Spaghetti

Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.

  5. 5

    Combine Everything

Add the cooked spaghetti, lobster meat, shrimp, clams, and reserved pasta water to the sauce. Toss to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley. Enjoy your Lobster Fra Diavolo!
